2/24/25 Happening Around Town Update
The Ridgeville Police Department has moved into their new Police Department located on the lefthand side of the Ridgeville Municipal Complex. Individuals who wish to speak with an officer should enter the new Police Department lobby and ring the bell for assistance.
8/27/24 Happening Around Town Update
The Community Center is back open for bookings after the final walk through was done with the contractor. Construction has also begun on renovating the left side of the Town Hall into a full service Police Department. A Police Chief and third Officer still has not been found due to low interest.
6/06/24 Happening Around Town Update
The Town has begun its search for a New Chief of Police and a Third Police Officer. Painting has been completed in the Gym and the installation of the new floor has begun. The town has also started to look into the idea of converting the old EMS side of the town hall into a new Police Station to help prepare for the new growth coming to the area and to the department. Construction of the new Cold Storage facility on Arctic Lupine Dr. has also officially begun.
4/22/24 Happening Around Town Update
Gym construction will start next week and is expected to continue into the coming months. The new Community Center Lettering was installed on Friday and looks amazing! It was determined that the old lettering needed to be replaced as part of the Community Center project due to several of the letters falling off and being broken.
4/10/24 Happening Around Town Update
Gym renovations have officially started with the roof repair being completed on Friday! This is just the first phase of a several month long process of renovating our community center to better serve the community. Some of the new additions will include new flooring, updated bathrooms, new kitchen appliances, new paint colors, new doors, new signage, and a repaired roof. We hope to be able to reopen the Community Center to the public by mid July 2024!
We are also happy to announce that more improvements to the Ridgeville Town Park are on their way! In an effort to add more diversity in the play equipment for children 1-5 years of age we are looking to add several more features to the park to replace the current older equipment for that age range. New water fountains, tables, and grills are also going to be added to the park.
