Important Notice

The Town of Ridgeville has hired a contractor to perform routine landscaping, clearing, grubbing and cleaning of the Town's roadways, sidewalks, and ditches. 

This work will include:

• cleaning of sidewalks and clearing of any vegetation that would block the sidewalks
• clearing vegetation out of ditches in town
• clearing of Town water lines, fire hydrants and Town Water Tank property
• clearing around all stop signs and street signs to ensure proper visibility

All work will be done on SCDOT Right of Way or Town property but may affect the roadways and sidewalks. 

This work will begin on July 28th, 2025 and will continue for 2-3 weeks. For your safety and theirs, please stay clear of the workers and their equipment. We thank you for your cooperation and patience. 

We hope that this work will make the Town's roadways and sidewalks safer and more attractive for our citizens and visitors!
